Meet Judas. A new character of mine. A medicine man, somewhere between a chef and an alchemist, traveling between worlds far and wide in order to procure the freshest otherworldly ingredients for his medicinal treats. Everything from brews to breads, his specialty is making the most bitter medicines palatable. And he will gladly lend you his talents. ...For the right price, of course.

As he must pass through the territories of many unkind creatures in order to gather ingredients for his wares, he wears the mark of his trade across his face in brilliantly glowing red paint, so the spirits can see him coming and know to let him pass in peace. These markings are a time-honoured tradition in his trade, and a promise to take only what is needed, use what is taken only to heal, and to leave without interruption. So far, the magical beasts of other worlds have known to respect this healers' pact. But the farther from home he ventures, the less likely the local creatures will be to know of this promise...
