Saw a skater take a fall today. I gotta say, there's something uniquely satisfying about watching skaters eat shit. Runners and rollerbladers just fall, and it looks painful. Bicyclists have this whole vehicle wrapped up in their accidents. Skating is the one mode of transport where you have comically high-impact failures and the board is just sort of adjacent.

Also, skinny rat boys are smokin' hot, but I'm not sure that's related at this point.

I'm pretty sure this observation is the entire foundation of the Skate franchise.

My last experience with skaters was walking past a bunch of teens and hearing one of them say 'I do love a good hashtag'.
