So, doing this for a couple reasons:

I'm seeing if people respond to this more readily. Journals seems like a game in terms of getting people to pay attention and I know that there are people who don't read journals. So I'm trying to see if I can reach more of my watcher base this way. Rather than play a game of, "Whose is more dramatic?"
I realize I've been plugging a lot of my moneymaking stuff right now. I'm aware that it may be becoming a bit wearisome to simply have someone try to shove their wares down your throat, and I'm sorry if you're a little frustrated with it. But I'm not making a lot of money right now. Patreon hasn't gotten a lot of support yet and just ... my other stuff isn't selling.

So, on the note of making money, which I just addressed above if you skipped to this, I need some help. For next semester, I need to make back about $3000. More, actually, in order the pay for gas and other things as well, but that's beside the point. My hope is that I might be able to take a couple commissions in the coming weeks. The CKC comic should also go up in a little while as well. But I'm not sure that will completely foot the bill.

Now on the note of commissions ...

If I were to take some, I think I could take a few. However, they would all have to be consistent, so only single character works would be doable. Unfortunately, I'm unsure if I need to increase prices, as well. But for sure, I'd only take a few that I know I can complete within a short time.

Now some other stuff ...

So I am trying to put together something. Either a comic book, a quick story, something, but it needs to get started and finished soon. I'm just trying to get myself to work so that I can have some semblance of a job.

Also, my dad is pretty well at a dead end. He was recently fired from his third shift job (which was a whole other kind of stressor), is currently unemployed, and hasn't had anything bite, not even after getting his CDL license. All the options he has, it seems, takes him away from family, which he absolutely doesn't want.

If you could, please, keep him in your prayers. I hate feeling helpless and unable to help my dad, but I don't know what else to do. So, if you would, the prayers are very much appreciated. And if you're not religious, even well wishes help.

I'm not gonna lie, though, I barely know what to do, either. I need some income between now and next semester, otherwise I'm going to have to stop going to college for a while. And the quicker that's done, the better.

On a brighter note, I'm toying with the idea of an "Ask adult Godzooky," type of tumblr. I think it might be fun, so long as I can keep up with it, and it might be something you guys enjoy, too, hopefully.

I've got a couple things thumbnailed out for Weremen and I'm still trying to complete that second entry in "Having a Dinosaur." The next Patreon piece is underway and I'm about to close up the next Patreon poll as well.
