This is a portion of the project, and I'll take another photo when it's all put together.

This project was tougher than I expected due to grain. Most people know that you have to carve with the grain which is pretty easy to accomplish on a flat surface. Grain affects the project in 3 dimensions though, and your knives will not cooperate with you if you try to go the wrong way. On the outside of the pedals the correct direction was down which was no problem. The inside of the pedals desperately wanted me to carve up. Unfortunately, there's an entire flower in the way. I just had to muscle through going against the grain which is never a good idea, but I had no other choice. Still managed to pull it off though!
