Raczoon's Critter - 3D Print Test
I finally remembered to send the model of Raczoon's critter posed to a friend of mine to see how it would print out.
I. LOVE. IT!
This is simple black PLA plastic, and I would love to get more of these printed out, and maybe I can even paint them for people!
I just wanted to share this with you guys while I'm working on stuff that isn't really allowed to be shown to the public just yet (and also stuff that just isn't that exciting) - thanks so much!

It's tricky for sure, and requires some knowhow with electronics and computers to calibrate the 'slices' which the 3D printer will print, layer by layer, which I hardly have any experience in. I am so happy and lucky to have a friend who is working with 3D printers constantly! Thanks so much for your comment! : D
Sure thing! I just got the word back from my friend, and he says that the printer is a Replicator 2. He uses the program KISS Slicer Beta, and printed it at 100 micron sized layers at 198 degrees Celsius. I've yet to get the photo of the underside from my friend, but hopefully he'll get it to me soon!
