here's kishiko's ref just as i was learning my technique for coloring so it isn't the best but it's better than i was able to do before

back fins up when angry/in a bad mood. they go down when relaxed or happy
pupil is dark green while the rest of the eye is lighter green
pawpads, tongue, and insides all green
color on hand webs is a bit darker than on the lower half of their arms and back fins
nose is light blue and dog-like with flaps in the nostrils than closes them
uses tail kind of like a crocodile when swimming but also uses arms and legs. uses back fins to turn better when swimming fast.
always has eye bags
feet claws are very sharp
poisonous stingers in the tips of the ear things. poison causes temporary paralysis (pulls them up when hunting larger things and uses them like horns to stab large prey and paralyze them then kill them when they can't move.)
teeth are yellow and slightly poisonous (less than the ear tips. causes the body to become sick and empty the stomach while also causing temporary blindness)
