Halloween Special #9 (Cut Down to Size.)
This hardly seems fair, Chauncey! I mean, there's picking on someone your own size, then there's ganging up on someone who you shrunk down to half your size! Also you brought a giant robot! NOT COOL
This piece was quite difficult! Point of view wise, it's not an angle I've executed well in the past! And all that foreshortening, good gawd! I think I learned a lot, but I hope to get better :'>

Thank you!!! :DDD I struggled with it a little at first, but I am happy that it worked itself out in the end! Some of the drawing actually got cut off by the scan, but I feel it looks more tense that way actually XD I had drawn both of boolossus' eyes!

Holy zonks! Sorry for the late reply! I've been a bit bogged down with all sorts of things.
But wow, where do I even begin with commenting on this piece?
Let me start by saying I'm glad to see you've taken up the most difficult suggestion of the three. It's good to challenge yourself, and I would say the result is something to be proud of!
Seriously, all these enemies look so menacing, I probably would be more scared than Luigi is! The angle and the coloring is just superb in conveying this.
I also like how you've stayed faithful to all the character designs, from Luigi holding the Game Boy Horror to King Boo being accompanied by Bowser.
Did I already say I liked the colors? I'll say it again. I like the colors. It's one of the reasons I like the Mario universe to begin with. It's so colorful!

Man, me too! They were all intimidating in game, though not the most difficult... Trying to imagine fighting them all while being shrunk down is quite terrifying indeed!
Thank you! I watched a lot of gameplay videos to bring back my memories, it was also just fun to be reminded of the game! I remember I wanted it so much when I was younger, but I never had a gamecube... Then when I met Nux, I got to play it at long last! It was wonderful to see that the game I wanted so much as a kid was just as fun to me as a young adult... That's another great thing about the Mario series, I think. No matter how old I get, most of the titles just always have this unique funness to them! The colorful charm of the Mario world has this timeless sense of whimsy c:
