Don’t have a name for the roo guy. I don’t have any current plans to do anything with this setting, but let me tell you a bit about it.
These guys are in a contract-slave situation—whether by being tricked into it with promises of fame/fortune, or being sold into it as an alternative to prison time. In either case, they can’t get out of the pit-fighting league without buying their contract out, a feat which is only available to grand champions, as it’s nearly impossible to scrounge on the salaries of a lower rank.
Our humongous roo is a grand champion and as such has nearly all the priviledges of a freeman—he lives in a nice house and has lots of extra spending cash. But he has opted not to buy out his own contract. Partly this is because he loves pit fighting, the corruption of the management notwithstanding. But it’s also because he has genuine affection for the league rookies, who he wants to encourage now that they’re stuck with the same contract.
The basic league rules are as such: you may strike with any part of your body and only your (or someone else’s) body. No striking eyes or genitals. Fight continues until one fighter falls or is forced out of the ring, varying with venue.

DUDE.. this is amazing, and I'm really digging the backstory here (reminds me Gladiator). This image pulled me right in and encouraged me to read the story about this.. usually on pics where someone has 3 pages written, I generally am not interested. But this was really cool. Good work!! :D

Wonderful job here, I think the best thing about it how you did the erection with the species and their size.... The Roo is big, but and should only care about the strong, and yet here we see him consoling a rabbit who is much smaller and appears weaker... That kinda contrast between the two IMO really bring the pic together and make it have feeling

Maybe a name from the Dusun language would be suitable?
1) Rumandawi - means something like warrior. Or the rank of a warrior
2) Monsopiad - the name of this very famous headhunter in the folk stories of Sabah, bestowed with extraordinary strength. And it sounds like 'marsupial' hehe
