A partial catalogue of my old megapod style art, seeing as how i just posted a couple remakes of them...

The bellbottom-leg/big-foot style was popular in furry around '98 - '05 ish as i recall. The origin is obscure...maybe influence by Vaughn Bode's Ceech Wizard and lizards, maybe other underground comix of the late 60s and early 70s ...i don't have time right now to search through my old files to list a few of the artists who did megapods...Jon Barrett,s Roxikat is the only one i recall by name (the 2nd pic from left top row started off as a fan pic of hir, but as i drew it the character became different...)

Another influence on the megapod thing might have Sonic's Bunnie and Julie-Su...

And i think bellbottoms were briefly "in" for awhile back around this time...
