Haha...see? I'm addicted. I've been wanting to make a raptor costume for a long time. Myself and another girl got on a kick after seeing the costumes for Walking with Dinosaurs. :3 We want those...but, just a raptor costume will be awesome. Then, we got the idea to make them semi-mutants or some hybrid things. Makes it funner. XD I think we're both to have glowy bits on the costumes, provided we get to make them XD
This is not a weird raptor, with the feathers on it's heels like that. It's actually based off a microraptor, which had wings on both it's from and back legs and flew like a freakin' bi-plane XD
I dunno what colors I'll be going for, but I'll soon color this to play around with it. Soon as I finish up with commissions :3

Damn... I saw that suit they made, the full body nonanthro raptor one. That musta cost a whole lot to make, especially with the animatronics. I'd -love- to get one of those and wear em around at cons but I bet they cost waaaay too much for me to ever afford something like that :P
Yeah, ya just gotta get in with someone who loves animatronics and build together. Haha
I dunno if I'll ever get to that calibur, but I'm going to attempt something that's not so anthro. At least get in the middle, you know?

You know, I saw this one fursuit maker who makes actual nonanthro fursuits. They were all quads though, and she put "stilts" in for the forelimbs so the person inside wouldn't have to bend over to use the forelegs. I dunno how that would work with a bipedal raptor but it was an interesting design idea.
I have a friend who's been wanting to make some digitigrade stilts. Was going to make them for my Haze costume, but I'm sure we can shift them a little for raptor feet. With moving claws :3
