This year is the 30th anniersary since one of the most popular icons from the pop culture and comics were created the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES.
Today i went to a comic con done here where i live and i had the privilege and pleasure to meet in person a legend in the comic fandom and pop culture, i greet Kevin Eastman, one of the creators of the TMNT, i exchanged some words with him, got signed by him some TMNT comics and gave him this humble fan art i did to show him my appreciation for give me so much inspiration to draw reading his comics since i discovered them far away in 1989.
If you´re a TMNT fan as well you may like this pic too, i hope the rest may like this pic as well, 30 years after the first comics were published, the TMNT are still live and kicking, and im sure they will be popular in our coulture for much more time like other icons, PIZZA POWER AND TURTLES FOREVER YEAH!! >XD

I had the pleasure to meet Peter Laird at a convention in Philadelphia several years back, and he was gracious enough to sign my omnibus of Turtles comics as well as put in a doodle of his own.
I loved the Turtles as a kid, and while age has tempered my enthusiasm for the Heroes in a Half-shell, I still hold a great deal of nostalgia for my favorite amphibians.

Bad cgi (NOT referring to the Turtles' or Splinter's looks on that one), no characterization of the Turtles most notably Donatello and Leonardo, Megan Fox who amounted to Kate Bosworth's Lois Lane, irrational changes to the lore -it's one thing to take out Hamato Yoshi but don't try to sell me self-taught mastery from a picture book or that they're magically bullet-proof-, the director's poor directing style, the attention deficit need to string multiple action sequences together as if they were all their own climax, and the fact that the plot is Mission: Impossible II (ironically this is written by the writers of M:I IV) mixed with Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 (the latter co-written by the writers of M:I III) seem to say this film was shit.
*sigh*
I'm a limited TMNT fan. This reminds me why. I loved the original comics.
I immensly enjoyed 'Turtles Forever' and liked the last animated movie (though the story could have been better).
I also just fund out that http://www.furaffinity.net/user/mkaz/ worked on the later comic series. *sigh* I would have ordered the paperback if money wasn't so tight.

I loved the comics and the cartoon series, but also i dig alot the archie comic version as well, the TMNT adventures series was kinda like see the cartoon, but less dumb and more mature and serious, it was like a mix between the cartoon and Eastman and Laird comics.
The last animated movie was ok, but i think i liked most the special "Turtles Forever"
I think Mkaz worked in a few TMNT issues from Archie and did the "Mighty Mutanimals" series which was really good but sadly cancelled.
Anyway i knew more about his works from the Ren and Stimpy comics published by marvel in the 90s

Heh, the only good thing about the Turtles in time arcade version was that it has the tune "Pizza power" in it, but the control were kinda awkward and slippery.
I preffered alot the Snes version were the control flows were corrected and was more playable and fun and the graphics and sound were pretty decent.
