The pictures in my head were black and white
Of someone not myself inside the spotlight
But my soul still there, a precipice from my real
It's what I would make it, the amalgamation I'd feel

What's the sum of endeavors when I quit in three weeks?
What's the gain of skill where I'm still scared to speak?
Maybe just move my body, stop, to, and fro
And at the end of it all, the amalgamation I'd know

Rollercoasters away peak at last-minute stints
A failure or two await just to drop a few hints
But in the end, I'll win the battle, prove I'm not weak
If I keep building this, the amalgamation I'd speak

Scars turn to stories, and lessons turn to norm
Quit what I've got would leave a calm before no storm
They say I am who I am, but I deny destiny
I'm in that light; the amalgamation, now the best of me
