Are these prices still current? $65 for a Full Body Commission and $32.50 for 1 additional character plus $5+ for a background sounds pretty expensive.
Honestly, $102.50 for a basic 2 character commission sounds pretty intimidating. And of course $205 for paying double is even worse.
I am also wary of percentage fees because those will always be costly (financing 101). Finally, are you fine drawing adult artwork and what are your restrictions?
Thank you for your time.

Yes. My prices are fairly current. They're downright competitive when i'm actually open for commissions. Charging double when I'm not open at all, instead of just turning people away period, is a courtesy.
It's very rude to come on to an artist's page and tell them their prices are too high. Art is a skilled job that takes time. It should pay better than minimum wage. You've basically come into my space and told me "I want your art, but I think you value your time and skills too much."
I've drawn adult stuff. Things I won't draw include, but aren't limited to: rape, scat, underage characters in sexual situations, more extreme ends of hyper, and porn of characters you don't own

I was just asking harmless questions. Unlike others who spend recklessly I check artists to discern their true character. I am not looking for a single piece but a large project so I want the best and most upstanding artist.
Your harsh reply showed yourself to be presumptuous which is incredibly rude since you barely know me or my perspective commission. It’s also very telling when you lash out at a modest inquiry.
It’s a good thing there are better artists with more affordable pricing and even better manners than you.
After all, you are not the only artist in the sea. :P Good day, Sir.

It's insulting. To me, and to people who have paid to get my art. I don't care what prospective commission someone has when their introduction is telling me I overcharge for my art.
I've been civil, and you lash out at me. Get the fuck off my page and don't come back. I'll be telling others what an asshole you, bobbyback, are.

By the way, in case any of this convo is deleted, here you go future peeps: http://i.imgur.com/326kHyT.jpg
Hey there Malificus,
I was just wondering if you're open to the idea of doing character references? I've been looking around for an artist to do one for me when I came across your style. I have been watching you for a while and your art is pretty cool so I thought I would check to see if you could do one :D. I did a little look around in the commission info, this page and journal entries to see if you were open for commissions and I did see the journal about being full back in November so I thought I'd check first before asking you to do one :P I was also wondering about the pricing of a ref sheet if you do do those, is it the design pricing + fullbody price? Or are those very different things?
Sorry if I missed anything obvious about it. Let me know if it's at all possible and I'll fill you in on what I was looking for, and if not that's fine :P If you do know anyone that is open to ref sheets, and you recommend them, let me know and I'll give them a look see.
Thanks for making great art in any case:D It is a joy to see new ones of yours.

I can do character reference images. Basically a front and back view works out to be $130, or $155 if I'm working from a specific written description.
As a heads up like, I get really disoriented by long written descriptions. It's hard to remember all the details, where to look to double check them, and draw at the same time, so I might have to turn down anything that's too complex or specific, Generally, a single paragraph or really well organized bullet points are best.
And right now I'm only taking stream commissions, which I do 6 days a week. Reserving a stream slot costs double the normal price.
