Hey! Finally getting around to posting a full image of that icon I've been using for months now. About time, right? I know I've gotten a few shouts asking where I got this. I can't remember if I answered them or not...but this commission should answer it for sure.
So, while I've gotten a number of commissions in the past with some good paw shots, I do believe that this picture is the first where it's exclusively about paws. I mean, after all, that's all the picture is of. And for my first paw icon, I think it turned out most awesome.
I got this back during the early summer time. TwilightSaint opened up for commissions, and I've kinda been wanting to commission her for a long time. She makes awesome art, but her specialty seems dragons and birds. However, she was offering paw icons, and I had a guess that she'd be able to do it brilliantly. So I told her what I wanted, and she nailed it. I got a nice big picture of paws, claws gleaming, some awesome fluff, and those awesome paw pads. It was great and awesome and the best paw shot of my character so far. Which is why it's my icon for so long.

Oh, man, the details are important to me. I love big paws, with sharp claws, and tufts of fur sticking between the pads. And when the toes do something different, like curl up or stretch out, then it's evergreen better. That's why I love this commission. The artist did it perfectly. So, I'm glad you like it as well. Good to know the details haven't gone unnoticed.
