So I met a local fur that had commissioned a polecat partial for a good amount of money from an artist that was to be delivered just before Phoenix Comicon. She shared her concerns with me that she had commissioned it 3 months earlier and hadn't been given any info or pics on it's status. I asked if she could let me know how it turned out and that if it was bad, I would fix it. The before head is what she was given the day before the con without anything else she had commissioned. So I picked up the head and pretty much made a new head. The only thing I used from the original head was 2 pieces of foam that were the cheeks in the original. Doesn't even have the original balaclava.

I guess I didn't mention this, but I didn't do it the day before. I picked it up after the con. It took a day working here and there after work to build the foam and like maybe 2 days for furring. I picked it up in June/July and she said she didn't need it until AZFC 2014, so had a couple of months to work on it.
The foam is glued, but I made a duct tape pattern and sewed the fur all together. The only parts that wasn't sewn was where the fur meets the fleece on the ears. That section is glued down. On the original head, everything was glued together and it was a pain in the butt to get it off the balaclava. I eventually had to just rip the balaclava out when I got the head shape done cuz it was so messed up.
