Oh, it did have to end somewhere... I suppose I can't complain. Maybe a goodra's belly isn't so stretchy for all that goo it's made of.
At least the cleanup will be easy in here.
Ah, the inevitable conclusion. Admittedly, I'm not terribly into actual images of characters popping, but it's obligatory, in a way, when what you like the most is the very instant before. Because of that, though, I never really know just how well I pulled it off - I can't really help but feel apathetic to how it's depicted, so long as it isn't morbid or unsettling. Speaking of which, my original idea for this part was simply to have bits of goo adorning the shower (similar to this image, if you don't mind something explicit), but I eventually judged the idea a bit too unpleasant. The idea was that a goodra is really just a bunch of goo held together by a single membrane, and rupturing the membrane (i.e. bursting) would simply result in goo all over, but I decided against it.
Well, at the very least, I think I'm alright at drawing popping at this point. It could use a bit more depth in this case, I'm sure (instead of just one layer of water and a stray piece on top of it), but it's a start. I think my shading with it works out alright, and transparent things are slightly less annoying to draw now. If anything, I think I need to work on some way of adding "strength" to them bursting, something that looks more like it'll cover the walls in whatever-it-may-be, but I'm okay with this for now. I'll just have to experiment.
In any case, any and all feedback is a wonderful thing. I think the part before this is the single image I've gotten the most comments on, and I absolutely love that - thanks for all of it.

I think one problem is the way you have portrayed the rupture, mainly because it simply looks like a bite has been taken out rather than the maintenance of form/peeling that balloons do. https://christennantphotography.fil.....oons_small.jpg http://dpshots.com/images/high_speed/high_speed_photos_5.jpg

I'll fix you up. You'll be okay to...try this again.
...if you want to try...this...again.
I recommend that you do not.
...try this again.
...the shower hose thingy.
...because then I'd have to come back.
...and sew you up again.
*starts giving the Goodra a 'patch' job, if one could forgive the expression*

Well, it being your preference was already implied :U I know that tastes in this stuff vary greatly (as demonstrated in other comments here - I don't mind), and that I can't satisfy everyone, but I try to please as many people as I can. It would've helped with that issue of adding some force to the popping, I think. That, and I value your opinion at this point. You give some helpful suggestions.
Honestly I just like to keep the subject on the brink of bursting and end it there, but I enjoy popping as long as they're looking forward to it and regenerate soon after.
And yes, I'm very aware it's up to me whether the Goodra here survives it. Thanks for keeping it open to interpretation, at least.

Well, the "on the brink of bursting" idea does appeal to me, but I'd end up playing it out as very unpleasant (painful, even) for the one being inflated. My own sadism is pretty evident in these images, but I probably ought to stick with things like this that aren't outright torture. I do indulge a bit with these works of mine, but like you mentioned, I want to keep it enjoyable for as many people as possible. I might act on that idea someday regardless, though - it leaves a nice mental image.
I was thinking just two days ago about how nice it would be to have helped inspire someone else to make content like this. It's surprising which things make an impact, though. I never really liked thinking back to this sequence because I didn't really like the shape, or how big the goodra got, or how I drew the bursting.
What all that means, though, is that I'm actually glad someone produced their own interpretation of the idea. I think yours turned out pretty nicely. I personally quite enjoy how uncomfortable they look near the end, too.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this. It makes me really happy to know that this had an impact on someone, but there's no way for me to know that it happened unless they say so.
