The first photoshop coloring job I ever did... at least that I can recall. This was back before I had a grasp of all the nifty things you could do with layers, dodging, burning, gradients, etc. As you can see, the flame effect was almost solely done using smudge. Cheesy, but not bad for crap I did back in 2001. Yeah, the title is a play on words. How cliche of me.
