Species: Snatrikz Hybridixus
Quick Info: One of the ancestors to the present Hybridixus/Hybrid.

History/Background info/story:
Snatrikz is what I shall call them for now because their species died out many thousands of years ago. They evolved from snakes that mixed their own DNA with other creators that lived around them, with other words, dinosaurs. These ones have trace of triceratops, maybe raptor but not sure or they might try to add raptor DNA later. Now these ones are not fast at all when they do hunt for prey, they are slow when walking, and not very fast (that may be what killed their species). Anyway, they did live long enough to breed and get little ones who evolved into faster predators than themselves. They also lived in small groups or herds to better survive the dangers around them. These are quite large and are able to store living food in their stomach for the rest to eat if they do share at all. They are stubborn and not very smart, but they will feed another of their kind who have not eaten for days or even weeks or months. The snake part of their DNA makes them excellent on staying without food for a full year if they are an adult. During this time they do not breed because that takes time and energy, mostly for the females.

The female always goes into heat during the spring and some of them might have been asleep in a dark hole/cave before that and just awoken to hunt for something to eat. Males will fight one and another for the right but they do try not to hurt one and another. They will try to push the other male down to win, sadly while two males fights for her a smaller male might appear and mate with her not having anyone to fight at all if he’s luckily to get that far at all. Afterwards the female might raise the hatchlings on her own or a male might stay by her side hopping to get another chance with her later after she have laid her first eggs for the year. Even if the hatchlings ain’t his own he will protect and keep them all safe along with the female and might even die for them as well. He also hunt for food that he vomits before the female on the ground to keep her well feed as well as the hatchlings. If the female would raise hatchlings on her own they might all die or one might live to become an adult one day.

While some live in herds others live alone all their life and only meet others when mating calls. They are snakes after all. They have poison in their two hidden large fangs in the above part of their maw. They have about 16 large fangs/teeth in the front part of their maws to grip with that they can retract back into their mouths. They always hunt for preys until they are stuffed full before they go to sleep for a long time. Few of them have slept for over a year or even two years before they awake. Some of they could even be asleep for years while waiting for better times, if it’s true or not no one can tell, if anyone of them are still alive to this day have yet not been told.

Snatrikz are snakes and their young have large eyes because they are young and also another shape on their frill as a young before it becomes a crown like the adults have. The hatchlings are light and quick on their feet, as adults they slow down in speed but not strength or how much they are able to store in their large stomach. They use their poison to keep their pray unable to move for at least 6 hours or more depending on how much they injected. Still their brain is tiny but smart they are. Insult them and they will bite you after hunting you down. Forget they will not and to eat or not, that’s the question.

Alright a species of mine that I created a few months ago or within a year. Hope you enjoy the story that I wrote down here for you to read about them. My Hybridixus/Hybrid species are a mix of dinosaur/snake/reptile based kind and this if one of the first species that did evolve from them. They only have one claw on their short front legs because looking at real snakes the male can still have his back legs that have one claw on them to get a grip on the female. And yes, they have two as well if you know what I might speak of but not name here, at least this species have that. I might try and draw how they look inside maybe but we shall see if I do or not, so enjoy this for now.
