Like the other one, but actually in a size that's useful for my project.
There's still frames for a tail attack, but there's also some frames for grabbing something with the tail for an ability theft of some sort (and I'd have the orb-like thing in the middle of the sprites standing in for something like the stars in Kirby).
I drew some sprites for walking forward and backward that probably don't have use in a platformer but I wanted them for completeness.
Also present is a 16x16 Nova I might use on the map or something, if I have one, and a head I might use in dialog.
Copy abilities, and ideas
I might have Nova's palette change based on what ability she has currently, Megaman-style, but not sure, so here they use her palette. I also might have the tail change based on the ability, since that's what would generate any of the projectiles. I tried to be a bit creative so it doesn't look too obviously Kirby inspired.
Glider: From Conway's Life, travels in a diagonal direction, probably would bounce off of stuff in 90 degree angles.
Electricity: Bolt would shoot forward in a straight line.
Fire: Bounces on the ground like Mario's fireballs. I also drew a sprite for something getting set on fire. Would have a side effect of being unharmed by environmental lava and fire.
Firework: Select a location somehow (with cursor, left), then send up a firework (middle) to go off at that place (right, four firework sprites), causing damage.
Ice: Crappy attempt at drawing a snowflake; would probably freeze water or other things and make ice blocks. Would allow the user to walk on ice without slipping.
Burger: Would fly forward, because that's what they did in my previous three games. Maybe providing a lift if you jump on it? I don't really know, lol.
Boomerang: Would fly forward and then fly back the same distance.
Ball: Would roll down forward, affected by gravity, maybe bouncing if it falls?
Water bottle: Thrown in an arc, then it would spill. Allows the user to swim, because why not.
Wind: Would blow enemies or other things away a bit. Would allow the user to counteract wind blowing them in a particular direction.

Those could actually be useful if you plan on allowing the player to be able to walk through doors to different parts of a level à la SMB2, or you could possibly modify them into "victory poses" or something for completing a level. :P
