Honestly save yourself the trouble and money and get a piece of plywood and cover it in a few layers of duct tape. This board was not made for this and in a few throws the board is collapsing in the middle. This was some venting when the darts just weren't cutting it anymore.

What's the duct tape for?

It's to soften the blow on your knife tips to keep you from sharpening them incessantly.

Make no mistake, this was also a bad idea. But I live in a shitty apartment so my level of giving a shit is through the floor. You can't dig deep enough to find how much I give a damn about this place. Personally I hope the terrible electrical wiring of this place burns it to the ground after I leave. This is a shit apartment complex that exists only to get cash and not reinvest in their buildings and tenants to keep them safe. I had to have someone walk through my front door which had no deadbolt and tell the landlady that she was going to clean up brains if she didn't fix it.

Maybe just in my place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who legitimately wants to live in a nice place or expects to get a deposit back.

That reminds me of the holes we accidentally put in the ceiling using an iron fencepost as a staff when we were in college. Also the holes in the walls.

Some people never grow up after college. I happen to live with one, this apartment is a dump and a fire hazard anyway so I'm not exactly being the best tenant I could be. Fuck the owners of these buildings, extra hundred and fifty dollars a month electric bill in the winter because they won't fix the wiring and insulation in these buildings.
