Everytime I look up to the sky and see the sun breaking through the clouds, making them force to part, I want to be one of the rays falling to the ground and lighten everything up.
This painting was quite a good self therapy. Even though I always avoid to paint clouds, I made them be one of the main central parts of this image.
I'm quite happy how they turned out and even though I made random brush strokes (as always when I paint clouds), they seem to look better than any other attempt in the past. :XD:
Colours definately make more happy. It is weird that I actually mostly use subtle colours in my pictures even though I'm a very colourful person myself in real life and how I behave.
I think as the light breaks through those clouds, I finally broke the barrier of using multiple colours in a picture...
The plant spirit is awakening a dead tree in this picture. I think I subconsciously drew myself as the tree which awakes from the long sleep in darkness.
I somehow feel so much better now. :)

And of course I see this *After* I comment on your other one. Well, everything I said there is just multiplied by ten for this pic. Words can't accurately describe the feelings I get from this, or the sense of the feeling that you put into it. ~hugs~ And I am so glad you're feeling better again. Depression sucks, I know, but getting through it is what makes us who we are. Here's to keeping a hold on the ray of sunlight that broke through your clouds, and to blessing us with the gift of seeing it for ourselves. Thank you.
