Oh, what’ll you do now, my blue-eyed son?
Oh, what’ll you do now, my darling young one?
A friend graciously invited me along to visit real live tigers earlier this week, and we got to observe/draw/photograph several, all with such unique personalities (and coats!). It was a wonderful experience, and certainly quite helpful from an art perspective. There is absolutely no substitute for getting to look at the Real Thing when it comes to references. Here's a painting of one of them, a rather fitting subject to test these new paints I picked up this morning.
