Sorry to hear it did not work out. I have some secondhand experience and it does not seem easy to save wild birds, unfortunately.

There is a raptor center near me that tries hard, but few can be rehabilitated. Most are used for educational purposes.

Malheureusement, j'ai du l'euthanasié ce soir. Il a continuer à se mutiler, à ne plus manger... Il m'a regardé et m'a fait comprendre qu'il voulait partir... J'ai respecté ce choix

J'espère aussi, la décision a été dur mais je pouvais pas le laisser comme ça. Chaque perte est déchirante, chaque relâché est inoubliable. Ce métier est à double tranchant.
