Don't know if I would say the 'first' per se, seen many sock paws prior to OED paws. They are some of the prettier though.

Yea people have been making similar looking sock paws since as far back as '06.
Idk why these are any different.

I actually don't think those are sock paws simply because of what is said in the description.

According to another maker they're made without shoe bases.
All I'm saying is there are plenty of paws that came before these that look similar or have similar construction
Slapping a signature on something that's been around for years seems silly unless she just means the term "sock paw"

the first time I ever saw a sockpaw, as in a paw made by putting foam on a sock then furring over that was QED, so I associate the idea with her, yes but.... to be honest I don't understand why you guys are telling ME this why not bring it up with, oh I don't know the suit maker who said it?

it's just that I got a notification but OED wouldn't have, so I don't get the point XD I actually forgot you didn't reply as well, sorry about that. but my comment about the sockpaws still stand, shoebase or not, shoes aren't what make a sockpaw, it being made out of a sock is.

That paw that was linked is a sock like base, I've seen them in person. I just find it a bit silly someone trying to claim the title of firsts on something that's been around for years.
