In which stuff actually happens.

This might seem like a pretty sharp shift in tone, but it has a purpose. I probably could have written it a bit better, but if I go back and start making major changes now, I may never finish this story. There was going to be this whole big reveal later about Silas having been bitten, but I can't imagine anyone not figuring it out before then.

It only gets crazier from here, and possibly more poorly written.
