We were cleaning up Halloween decor and I decided to have a little fun with Mr. Skelington, my steel pot and M1 Carbine.

Can't say the election surprises me, Americans hate who ever they happen to have in office. I'm sure next election, will get a republican president and then once we've all hated on Republicans enough, we decide its time to hate on Democrats. :D
Presidents only get all the love after they leave office, Jimmy Carter, best example!

Yes, Billy was a bad boy, but at least he's gone on to do something with his life after. Though actually I retract what I said, they typically get love when they continue to devote their time. Bill Clinton had an interview that explained it pretty well. Presidents enter office with a set of ideals or plans, things they feel are important. But most of the time they are trapped in the events happening in the country and beyond it.
So while they are president they do have a lot of power to change the world and yet they don't. They leave office, they are able to pursue their goals a lot more feverishly. Jimmy Carter's campaign against water born diseases in Africa, George H W Bush who spends excessive money on medical research and relief campaigns. Bill Clinton created the CGI group which has been going after ethnic issues, poverty, healthcare around the globe. This is a pretty tiny list of what they have done as well, just small examples of them using their political power to better living for all. Will be interesting to see what Obama is going to do, but doubtful he's going to paint pictures of dogs and flowers like his predecessor once he leaves office.
It does not matter if you mean well, only that you do well.

I already told you that there is a big difference between liberals and libertarians; one talks the walk, the other walks the talk. Libertarians and liberals both say they believe in the rights, liberties and freedoms of the individuals, but the latter believes in a highly regulated system that ironically grows to encroach on those rights, liberties and freedoms WHEREAS the former believes in a very lightly regulated system (if at all) to preserve and promote those individual rights, liberties and freedoms, AND independence.
Self righteous, power-mad liberals in recent years have relentlessly shoved political correctness and tolerance down our throats when a single hurtful word is uttered towards a group of people, to make us accept these people, in a cheap and ingenious zeal to make them look like the good guys and everyone else who disagrees the bad guys, thus instantly securing them a base of support. Libertarians (and conservatives) on the other hand, don't put up with that PC bullshit, they acknowledge that to be an American you can't have thin skin, and that the offenders do NOT have to apologize, no matter how fucking hurtful their comments were. Unlike liberals, Libertarians actually respect and acknowledge that those words, as hurtful as they are, are in fact protected by the FIRST AMENDMENT, and do not VIOLATE said protection by rallying everyone and ganging up on the offenders, forcing them to dish out apologies and go well out of their ways to totally ruin the offender's life if they don't, ALL when they simply expressed their opinion, even if they didn't say anything derogatory, demeaning or harmful (Like the Duck Dynasty and Chick Fil a fiascoes regarding same sex marriage). Land of the free? That is not freedom my friend, that is TYRANNY.
There is a whole grocery list of shit that I could rant on about that separates us from them, but the bottom line; big, BIG difference.
