In case anyone's interested, here's a brief overview.
Daniel Kamei'Sin is named after 'the great warrior Daniel Ti'Fiona', i.e. the protagonist from the DMFA webcomic ( http://missmab.com ). Like his namesake, he is an adventurer turned incubus.
In the nearly two centuries since DMFA, the adventuring trade has gone into a bit of a decline as race relations have improved. While there are still demon attacks on occasion, Daniel has found that his jobs have had an increasing number of calls to slay bandits and behead the condemned for villages too small to have an executioner of their own
.
While he gets a bit of a kick from carrying out justice and protecting the weak, killing criminals has lost a bit of its shine as his incubus powers started to come in and he started to be able to feel the thoughts and emotions of the people he was slaying.
This unpleasantness, coupled with the fact that he really adventurer to protect people, not chop their heads off, has caused him to reconsider his options and he has disappeared from the adventuring scene for now.
Daniel has enrolled as a student at Illiath's academy in order to better understand his own powers, and appears as a minor character in 'The Epsilon Project' ( http://projectfuturecomic.com/epsilon.php ).
