First up I'll tell you this... These are freaks among the Jeracal Race. The Jeracals don't treat them with prejudice though... more of... confusion. :D Most have no idea how to react to them and you'll see why in a bit...

What makes them different then a normal Jeracal or just one of unusual coloring?
~ Typically a Jeracal's coat is in hues of brown to orange and reds. Rarely you get one of unusual colors and it's the owner's behavior towards it that teaches other Jeracals how to treat it. Not the case with Cursed Jeracals.
~ They become cursed through unknown means. Dark pact, ancient magic, or perhaps something taboo. It is unknown and only the cursed ones know for sure but they wont say how. They can be born cursed and can breed.
~ If left alone a Cursed Jeracal can go mad. Jeracals are a social species.
~ Cursed Jeracals don't have a need to eat or drink but can do so if they desire.
~ Tend to have something wrong with them. Blind, Deaf, Mute, or insane is a possibility.
~ Their eyes glow red as do their mouth and private parts. It is the curse emanating from them that causes the glow so they can't ever "turn it off". They can try and hide it though.
~ The only thing that can see them are other Jeracals. So they are neither feral nor owned. They are almost as if they don't exist.
~ They live a very, very, very, very, VERY long time almost making them seem immortal. The only thing that can successfully kill them is another Cursed one or their Curse is fulfilled. One of two things will happen if the curse finishes its course. A) They become a "real" Jeracal or they B) Explode into a shiny ray of red light. (Remember... A normal Jeracal lives only 25 years at most... a Cursed can live almost 1 thousand depending on when they meet their objective. If not even more. And Jeracals never really "look" old. So they seem to forever be at the same age.)
~ There really aren't that many Cursed Jeracals. (Because most have already met their objective or were used for war just before the Jeracal domestication era. And since that time the knowledge of how to become cursed was lost to the Jeracals as their magic abilities have been almost completely nullified through domestication.)
~ Those with high magical sensitivity will be able to slightly see them or at least their glowing red eyes. (Jeracals by default can see them unless blind.)

NOW ONTO THESE PARTICULAR CHARACTERS!!!

I don't know what Seiokou will name hers but the female's name is Schrö as she is neither dead nor alive. These two are twins!! They were born into being cursed perhaps just after birth or while still in the womb they don't know. It's even possible they were cursed because they were twins as such a thing is VERY rare and can potentially be deadly to the mother birthing them. As they aren't completely sure of the reason behind their curse Schrö has decided that their job is to watch over the development of the Jeracal species and act like a guide in some situations but doesn't wish to shape the outcome directly. Such as she sees a starving Jeracal chained up. She'll place an apple barely within reach of them as if encouraging them to live but to fight to stay alive on their own as they'll have to get up and go for it themselves. Schrö talks in a very soft voice barely above a whisper and will never yell. Her hearing is amazing as she had to adapt a bit as she is blind. She uses her cursed ability to "sense" the life energy around her to help navigate and uses her ears to hear anything approaching. Her cursed life sensing ability does not help her navigate through inanimate objects so uses her hearing for that as well in a semi-sonar way. She still can't "see" everything.
She puts all of her trust and love into her twin brother as that is one of her only constants. You read right... in love. She views her twin as a mirror image of herself; a separate person of the same soul and wishes to always stay by his side eternally. Of which it's been several years already. These two are from the age of Wild Jeracals and watched through the wars and domesticating. Even though a lot of the culture, lore, and history is almost but eradicated from the Jeracal society she feels that this is the better era for the Jeracals as there is finally a species wide almost unity or comradery among them. (During the Wild Era tribes would fight other tribes and would kill each other. Now that they've been domesticated Jeracals don't try and seek to kill each other anymore.)

(( I might flush out more of what life was like before domestication but really it's not completely needed as the setting for the RP would be in the "present" age of their universe... and most have forgotten what it was like other then "There was a time when Jeracals were wild and dangerous creatures!" :x ))


Cursed Jeracals do carry the Wild Jeracal traits but I haven't really gone into them yet other then they possess Magic and incredible strength. Said magic is how a Jeracal can become cursed.
