The tricky part for some is working out where the characters are in relation to each other in space, especially when the artist is used to working with only one character at a time. With characters that aren't touching another, we can draw them all separately and paste them together in the computer, tweaking and resizing as we go. With two characters interacting and even touching, we're doing more than just drawing two characters. We're trying to visualize how their bodies are reacting to the other's and juggling the placement of their arms, legs, and heads. It's not any harder than any other drawing skill, but can still be daunting for an artist who's inexperienced with it. That you don't find it difficult is great.
