The top one is me trying to do that doggy expression when they catch their upper lip on their lower canines n.n s'cute and i was surrounded by doggies while in WA<3

Just one other thing-what type of pencils did you use for these? Are there any tips you can offer on how to get this level of finish?

I tend to use cheap brands like Crayola, Prang and Roseart. I dont know which were used here.
As for tips, you use your fingers to cluth the pencil in such a way as to press the lead with varying pressure to the paper. That's all.
