Just be glad you don't get one that is also very slooooow in their talking. My second semester math class I ended up dropping out of because it would take the teacher nearly 10 minutes just to tell us what we would be doing that day, and it was usually as simple as 'Chapter 2.' ; ;

I've never gotten a monotone, but I've gotten plenty of teachers with funny accents... ^.^;;

Haven't gotten any with accents yet, but I guess that could be annoying in its own way. ^^;

Most of my hatred is towards the other students though, who keep on asking insane questions about what the teacher just said so the class can't go on. ><

I once had a professor with a heavy Chinese accent who I could only decipher mentally if I was fully awake and could see what she was writing on the board. I fell asleep in her class once, but that was because I was living in the dorms and the guy in the next room kept keeping me up with violent sex against the wall my bed was up against. My professor didn't get mad though. She just pointed me out to the class and told them that it was better I get sleep now than if I collapsed on the stairs. This was after she poked at me a few times.

I had a teacher in high school that talked a lot about her life's events, but she'd do it AFTER giving out the day's assignments and then the class would just get to be able to do their work while listening if they wanted to do so.

Hahahaha. I feel your pain. Except I'm usually standing at attention when some one is rambling on like that.

My spanish teacher came in and did that... in spanish... my head hurt <.<

For some strange reason I find myself getting a decent amount of student teachers... Not more than half my classes of course, but certainly more than I had expected.
