Ah man that sucks, and hopefully the problems got fixed.
Lol the only problem I had with my friends suit was that she lost the handpaws 3 times.. Luckily it was an easy fix and it was in lost and found each time.
Don't worry I'm super shy too so I feel ya xD also why I had my suit on pretty much the whole con minus those few occasions, plus I glued myself to one my friend xD so suit + close friend always next to me is the only time I can really be social XD
But if I go next year it would fun to hang out for a bit if you're up for it :)

Did you not take the suits home? Hopefully it works out though, and hopefully it's not too big of an issue that they have.
And how close are you to the con? I have a con about 35 minutes away (FAU) and so far I've been able to convince my brother to drive me everyday xD bribery always comes in handy

I brought mine home and my friend brought his home. If allowed I'll be seeing him on Friday so I told him I'd fix them up then, at least they were a trade...
I'm about an hour's drive from Furpocalypse; I'd LOVE to go to FA:U, AnthroCon and Fur The 'More, I just need money for the hotel and all that nice stuff. ;___;

Ah, and I mean even in a trade it should up to the needed standards/quality if that was the problem.
I always use Christmas+birthday as an excuse to go to a con as a present. otherwise I try the save up as much as I can, at least with fursuits we've got some way of getting money aye :3
Rooming with people also comes in handy too because it makes the cost for hotel lower or if you stay at a friends house too then maybe even free but unfortunately I haven't had the experience to do that either.
I was hoping to go to furthemore next year but apparently they've moved the location so now it's an extra hour away and it was already hard enough to convince my parents to drive me to Anthrocon even if I pay for everything (which I highly recommend going to, the con was fabulous) but I shall see but it would be so cool to see you there :)

Sadly I can't room with any of my friends just yet because they're all significantly older than me and my parents are paranoid I'll get into trouble.

Yeah being in the fandom there's a lot more older people thus older friends, thus one reason my dad is refusing to drive me to Anthrcon again xD but I'll get threw to him
Although I've managed to make new friends so far at every con around the same age, or younger as well so it seems to keep my dad happy too xD

It's hard because, generally speaking, people 12-17 on this site (or god forbid, deviantART) are what gives this age group a bad rap. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely good kids and I'm glad anyone who can look past physical age, well, they're great people.
Almost all of my friends are boys so it makes it even more awkward. I've just turned it into, "But they're all gay*!"
