Here is what I did this weekend!

For those who don't know or haven't guessed yet, I LARP (live action role play). This is but one of my many characters. He is a Rakkarin, the cat-like race of the realm (equivalent to the Khajiit of Elder Scrolls). Of course I needed to play one of these guys (being furry and all), and boy are they fun to play! I'm actually a little disheveled from a weekend of doing this. The only downside is the costuming. The clothes were easy, but the makeup and "cheek fur" (mutton chops I got from a costume store then painted) were a bit uncomfortable and a bit time consuming. However, it looks good and adds to the environment, so it's worth it.

Now, I'm not really here to advertise, but perhaps some people are interested in LARPing that need to find a good group? The group I LARP with is called Mystic Realms, and is played around the NJ area. It is a very theatric roleplaying-based game, as opposed to combat-based LARP groups.
