Because I always feel the need to show off my tattoos here each time I get a new one XD This is one I can't really show off much IRL and I won't on Facebook because well.. it's partially between my bewbs :C (no creepy comments plz, although I have not once had this be an issue so far! Which is great haha)
I was trying to figure out where to get the piece done, and had the idea to get it done here, which is a kinda unique spot I think, but it felt right to me. A friend tried persistently to get me to change my mind and get it elsewhere (and he made me really second-guess myself) but I'm glad I stuck to my guns cause I love how it turned out and where I got it.
Btw it's a flash piece, so it holds no personal symbolism/significance. Like my last flash piece (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13831065/) because dammit sometimes I just want more ink and his designs are pretty. :[

Basically flash isn't custom made for you - you go into a shop and pick out a design from a book or sheet of different designs they already have. My artist in particular does flash specials where he'll draw out several designs, post them to his Instagram/Facebook and have people come in on a specified date to get one done for a low flat-rate price. Here's the sheet mine was on, for a Halloween special: http://instagram.com/p/ucGDMgseF7/
Yeah, it's soo hard to find even decent tattoo artists! It's ridiculous :( I'm fortunate to have found this guy - we even have mutual friends and stuff. I've gotten work from Aaron that's of subject matter I know he can do well, but I can't branch out beyond that because I don't honestly trust his ability to do animals and such (other than some birds) for example. I would LOVE some animal and fantasy critter tattoos but I can't for the life of me find an artist even in all of NorCal that can do them well. And even if I did, I like animal tats with a graphic style, like not realism, but still accurate, and with design elements (like this for example). I don't think odds are very high that I'll ever be in the vicinity of an artist that can do all that unfortunately D: Have you seen Teresa Sharpe's work? She's my favorite tattoo artist.. mind-blowing stuff.
veryyy nice ^_^ i love tattoos...i unfortunately dont have that many....just two actually x.x.....i always wanted to get this https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1105.....90a64a480b.jpg on my back, reallyyy big, cuz im in love with banksy :p but i was thinking, damn, i would lovee to commission a custom piece by arphalia to paint my back up with instead, cuz im in love with her too....decisions decisions.
citrus heights, huh? i grew up in fair oaks, and lived in carmichael in 2011 with my ex-wife...im planning to move back (i bounce back and forth wayyy too often), maybe ill go to that exact same damn place to get ome work done ^_^ ...ill be sure to let them know who referred me <3

Arphalia.. never heard of her! But just looked her up and her work is pretty awesome :O If only it were even remotely easy to find tattoo artists who draw animals/fantasy creatures nearly as well as many of the artists here... :\ It's so frustrating haha, I would have way more tattoos if there were artists around who did animals/dragons etc. well. But they are SO HARD/impossible to find. >:C
Ooh nice! I grew up in Carmichael ages 4-14, then moved to Fair Oaks ages 14-25. And yes you totally should! Aaron is a great artist, and there are a few other awesome artists at that shop at well. Would highly recommend them. The shop is called Imperious Rex.

true dat, i wish more furries were tattoo artists. :p ...i dont see why not - some of the artists here on FA make amazing art, and would make amazing tattoo artists, and their art would look really cool on skin. andd furries are always bitching that theyre broke and need 15 bucks or something x3 if i met the right tattoo artist, one who did furry shit, id have a ton of tattoos by now ;p it is frustrating, i agree completely.
arphalia is one of my favorite artists, in or out of the fandom, and i havent gotten the banksy piece yet in hopes of one day not only having the money for a commission from her, but getting her to draw something for me at all (her comissions are almost never open, and when they do people snatch em fastt x.x) but, ill save some skin for her art and hope for the best ^_^
i miss my home there. my family moved from fair oaks to connecticut when i was 8, and it was like...hugee culture shock....i remember my first few days of school, 3rd of 4th grade, and id never heard "the n word" in a derogatory way, or "faggot" ...everyone, even the children were just soo prejudiced and awful x.x in high school years, i moved back to fair oaks for like 9 months, i went to bella vista high school for a single semester, and the people there were like....soo much cooler than out here. it was easy to network, and i could be a member of any crowd out there, and everyone had something different to bring to the table...out here people are just douche bags. god, not that everyone in california is cool - i dont miss the tweaker pad i lived in, or the tweakers banging on my door at 2, 4 in the morning to ask for a cigarette X3 tweakers are scary o.o;;;
next time im out there, ill definitely check the place out. thanks for the 411.

Oh lord, lol (about the kids in Connecticut).. don't think I ever heard those words until middle school. Haha yeh there are some areas of Sacramento that are just awful.. like Arden. Carmichael has some bad parts too.
You only moved back for 9 months though? Why's that? That's good that you could actually make friends at a high school you were only at for one year. You must be outgoing :P
Tbh Californians seem like total dicks compared to Australians, so I can't imagine how the folks in Connecticut are, haha XD

well, i have family out there, and i left my parents house in CT and moved in with my grandparents in fair oaks sophomore year in high school, and my grandma didnt appreciate that i was smoking weed soo she sent me back to live with my parents....i didnt stay with them long either - i dropped out of high school shortly thereafter and lived inna tent in the woods for about a year, did the 'walden' thing....then i got more trapped out here because i decided it would be a good idea to move to bridgeport, ct (filthiest town in the world) to be an alcoholic and a heroin addict (im better now ^_^). since then, ive moved back and forth from CT to cali, depending on what drugs i was addicted to at the time, and if there was a methadone clinic nearby. very very stupid mistake. they call methadone "liquid handcuffs" because you can never go too far away from your clinic to get your juice, making traveling impossible. now that im off the crap, i can go where i want, and im definitely going back to cali within the next 6 months.
