after a minute the elderly roos cries for help had dwindled to mumblings inter spliced with the sound of splitting seams and babbling as he stared up at jakey and locked eyes with him his maw starting to slacken as jakey leaned in and planted a big babyish kiss on his new "friends" nose giggling to himself unaware that his former girlfriend was literally 20 inches from his face and making her way around the island to the door.
Samantha crawled along the cool kitchen floor ears flattened back while she listened to the noises coming from atop the counter and tried to keep quiet and out of sight stopping to check the path to the door was clear enough to attempt to escape suddenly becoming aware the roo lady was trying to exit the fridge.
