Why they don't consider The Creature from the Black Lagoon as a Deep one?

because he isnt a eep one. he acctually comes from some amazonian indian folk lore monster. they tell of a fish men race of the amazonians. he is the last of his kind. a ancient race that have lived since the devon time. though i guess one could include him as a deep one if you combinde it witht he lovecraft lore. also the deep ones built cities, the gillman didnt, he seem basicly to be sub human in inteligence. theres also other inhuman pre human species that lived on earth int h elovecraft mythos. The serpent men of Velusia from the Kulls tories and conan tales by rober e howard. in the lovecraft work they whorship Yig the snake like great old one and in Howards work they whorship Set the father of snakes.

In the Shadows over Innsmoith they said they are everywhere in the world, in many forms and shapes. But they know how to keep them at bay in the South Seas.
Also, Abe Sapiens from Hellboy is consider a Deep pone.

hmmmh but i dont think the original creature of the black algoon is conected to lovecraft but yeah he could be one if you decied it to be so in youre own universe.

The Creature was already my favorite classic monster, now i'm kinda fan of the fish/merpeople since a heard/read Dagon or Shadows over Innsmouth.
And anyway I do not think all these creatures have to be sectarian monsters eager to dominate humanity and mix their blood with ours ... but the last thing I wouldn't mind too much if there are more lovely creatures out there like Gillian.
