Love this song! I've actually been a fan of Mystery Skulls since 2011 back when they released their mini album and were still relatively unknown in Texas and only just gaining momentum. For those of you who don't know them, they do electronic and neo soul, kinda vintage stuff. Much like Studio Killers actually <3
They've been quiet almost three years and I was all over their single "Ghost" back in January and I was all over their album drop a few days ago <3
The music video for Ghost is pretty awesome, but then it got fanmade animated music video pretty much right as the album dropped. They couldn't have asked for better publicity lol
So anyway, I went and dun made this, because I could <3 A super adorbs Fox McCloud and a ghosty Wolf O'Donnell, with fly as fuck purple flame hair. A jealous Falco was probably responsible for his untimely demise *nod*

Yeah, Ive been waiting all year for this album! This particular song was released as a single back in January, but of course, the fan made animation only went up a few days ago, so with it, they finally are getting lots of attention. Using tons of people's weakness for the benefit of a band, ingenious! I suspect its the MLP style art that hooked most the people who like the video as Ive seen a ton of MLP related comments already and the main animator himself is a crazed pony fan and puts ponies in most his videos, including this one. One of the portraits on the wall in the hallway features a human Rarity. Thats all it takes lol
And now you made me sad. I liked the Mystery Skulls since I saw the Phoenix Wright thing with "Money". But then I just watched this, cause I like skellymanz (Necromancer4death :T ), and fancy suits... So when I saw this, I checked out the video... ;-; The story near the end was confusin', but after I learned what it meant, it made me sad. Green Bat Spirit thing is an asshole.
