This is the Savanna Dalanth subspecies. The dalanth is my own original species. Artwork was done for me by  Sidonie


Savanna dalanth are biologically and romantically asexual and prefer to live in larger communities even building villages for themselves with their homes being made of sun baked bricks or reeds. Those who live in or closer to the forest may use wood. Sometimes they can be seen living in their villages alongside prides of sabertooth cats. Working and raising their young together.

While all dalanth species take an interest in children and are very protective of them the primarily responsibility of care and discipline falls to the birth parent. They reproduce asexually and there for do not need a mate. Therefore pairings are rare but not totally unheard of and usually only happens with older dalanth.

Meat makes up the largest portion of their diet whether the prey beast is hunted or raised. Farming can be extensive but crops are limited to herbs and spices for their meat as well as fruits and plants that can be made into drinks. Grains are harvested for bread or to feed whatever beasts they raise for labor or food.

Savannah dalanth are highly intelligent as all dalanth are, but unlike most other subspecies they will create and fashion weapons to use rather then relying entirely on their own, rather impressive, brute strength.
