Optic is a creature powered and comprised of capture light energy. It stores the energy in the crystalline heart encased within it's chest cavity; when full the storage cell glows bright white. When energy is expended the crystal slowly dims until it emits almost no light at all.

The glow Optic emits depends on the type of energy being used at the time. Low power is a red to yellow spectrum light mostly used for non confrontational interactions. Green to Blue is a medium spectrum wavelength, and is used primarily for more demanding energy load where low power will not cut it. High spectrum, Optic takes on a deep Navy to Violet-black glow which is the most powerful wavelength produced. The light used at this power level is a pure solid and can deflect and absorb many types of impacts and magic.
