Since someone asked me to show pictures of the new baby. :p
This is Dexter, my new quaker parrot. I really wanted a baby, but when the lady at the bird store showed him to me, he took to me immediately and in return, I fell in love with him instantly.
He's 5 years old.
Not really a rescue... the previous owner was in a car accident and could no longer care for him, so she brought him to me local bird store to find a new mom for him.
I'm bringing Dexter home with me on Saturday. :)
