This is a (late-ish) Birthday gift for

ShadowCollie and I came up with.

"Come ON, Uncle Brock!!" Jaime tugged at my gloved paw, trying to get me to go faster. Already Chuziku and Shadow were hustling down the walk towards the street, ready to fill bags with goodies. "Slow down, you two! Wait for Bella and I!" I called out to them. "Careful, Shadow, you're gonna put your eye out with that thing."
"Relax Brock." Bella said behind me, pulling the door to Az's house closed behind her. "They're just kids, let them have a little fun." Her voice sounded a little muffled inside the helmet she was wearing. When I'd seen the "Gravity Badgers" costumes at the store, I knew we just had to go as Bayback and Sera. I'd even bought a cub version of my own costume just in case, though fortunately I didn't need it this year.
I was quite starting to enjoy this tradition. It was only the third year we were doing this, but every since Az and Em had Jaime, we've been taking the neighborhood kids trick-or-treating and it was a blast. It had all started out because Az couldn't really go traipsing around on his bad leg and we'd offered to take the boy ourself while he and Em stayed home to handle candy duty. I suspected that more candy went into their own mouths rather than the trick-or-treater's bags, but there you have it.
"Alrighty then. Lets go get some Sweets!" I said, and we took off down the street.
