there are a few people making their own theories here, and reading people's comments on youtube is actually pretty useful too. personally i think that no one was the bad guy here except for whatever spirit latched onto arthur in that cave. people want to blame ben, but i really don't think ben did anything wrong either HH

well, it's hard to really tell which arm it was considering he was silhouetted. here, i made a thing to show it could go both ways HHH: http://i.imgur.com/vwngx34.png
plus, i think it would be a little weird for the video to show him being possessed only for him to act with his unpossessed side u 3 u i wouldn't know for absolute sure though

I guess we really don't know what side he pushed with, although I'm more inclined to believe he pushed with his not green arm because Ben ripped off the green one and Ben was behind him so he would have to like turn around or something?? Which is totally possible, but the pace at which things were moving seemed way too fast. Maybe he was posessed but the spirit didn't actually push Lewis, just intensified the feelings of jealousy and made Arthur snap? *rambles forever and ever*
There's all sorts of theories on how the color green may be interpreted as envy or jealousy but I really just think the artist did it to convey possession considering the solid color schemes that went into everything else.
However, here's something to think about.
Blue's glasses lenes [I use their colors rather than names because I'm bad with names] were purple/pink, now in my interpretation I think they were made that way to symbolize that she only had eyes for him, not in a literal sense but in a metaphorical, as in no other guy could catch her attention since all she saw was Purple. So even if Orange did kill Purple out of jealousy that was manipulated by a ghost and Blue's/Orange's memories were wiped by red she still only has eyes for Purple, she can't remember him yet that inseparable bond between them is still that strong, if that's true I really feel like the story was even more romantic than tragic.
As for the arm though, Red ripped it off after he pushed Purple, and I think that's most apparent after Purple's fall, you get a glimpse of Orange's face with the human half being distraught and in tears while the possessed half is smiling/laughing joyously, Orange didn't want to push Purple or if he did it was a snap decision that he deeply regretted. Further, after that we see Red holding the arm in his mouth with his kitsune tails extended, so to me he tore it off after Purple was dead because he had to.
I like to believe he also wiped their memories of Purple so that they could continue functioning as a group, not only did Blue see Purple's death up close she would no doubt have blamed Orange, Orange would've also blamed himself for what happened considering he killed a close friend, and Purple doesn't know.
He doesn't know Blue and Orange don't remember him, that's what enrages him, not that orange flees with Blue but that his beloved didn't remember who he was, that's why he vanishes with a tear, there is nothing keeping him there anymore and he passes on to be forgotten entirely...
This time, he might just disappear.~
