A concept for a fanfiction I'm writing...or some form of story, I'll figure it out.

It takes place in Skaro just as the Daleks are figuring out how to travel without static electricity. One Dalek collapses in the swamp wastes, and is abandoned for a long time until it is rescued (and breastfed) by a Thal woman named Ferja, whose baby has died recently. Though the Dalek is able to return to its city, it continuously returns to Ferja even as suspicions start to arise.

The Dalek design here is meant to be a very early Dalek, so it's not going to be flat like the Time War Daleks, or globby-blobby like the ones that are mastering space travel. Just a radiation-mutated Kaled that got shriveled over generations of living in radiation.
