TICK-TACK-TICK-TACK
“Whoah!” awed Lucky as he and Emino seemed to almost fly up to the manor’s second floor. “You’re fast!”
“Hold on!” Emino shouted. “We’re about to run into some trouble so I’m going to create a psychic barrier to protect you!”
“What?” Lucky asked.
PWOOSH!
Lucky felt a strong breeze gust out from Emino that caused the purple mist to float a safe distance away from them.
“Everything’s okay,” stated Emino. “You just focus on getting us to the museum.”
Lucky closed his eyes and continued to think thoughts of nothing except how he would go to get to the museum and what it looked like.
“Got it!” cried Emino as he dashed in the direction Lucky was thinking about.

Meanwhile, in the Main Hall, Scuttle and Bubble had just finished explaining what they knew of the situation to Cappy and Fritter.
“We’ve got to get everyone we can to the basement as soon as possible,” stated Bubble.
“We could each run up both sides of the room and ask each row if anyone is okay?” suggested Scuttle.
Bubble looked towards the front door and noticed the purple mist creeping towards the back row of guests.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” she said.
Scuttle stomped his foot and shouted, “Well, we got to do something!”
“I know!” cried Cappy.
Scuttle, Bubble, and Fritter faced their blue colored friend upon hearing his proclamation.
“What is it?” Bubble asked eagerly.
“Uh,” Cappy nervously gasped.
“Tell them, Cappy!” cheered Fritter as he hugged his friend. “I bet it’s a great idea!”
“Umm,” said Cappy. “What if we go up front and call out to anyone who is feeling okay to follow us to the basement?”
“Yeah!” Fritter cheered. “I always come when my mommy or daddy calls me!”
Bubble and Scuttle faced each other and nodded.
“That’s a great idea!” proclaimed Bubble. “With Scuttle’s big mouth, I’m sure everyone who is still okay will hear us and we can get them out of danger really fast!”
“At least everyone knows when I’m talking!” snapped Scuttle as he looked grumpily towards Bubble.
Bubble gave no response as she, Cappy, Fritter, and Scuttle scurried towards the front of the room.

Back up in the manor’s museum, Emino and Lucky had nearly finished inspecting each of the artifacts on display.
“Curses!” groaned Emino as he placed a large ruby back upon its stand.
“There’s nothing here that can help?” Lucky asked nervously.
Emino shook his head and said, “If I could use magic like your father, I could use many of these relics to amplify my magical ability significantly.” He then sighed as he stated, “However, as a psychic, there’s little I can do with these gemstones that I can’t already do with the Focus Crystal I wear around my neck.”
“Focus Crystal?” asked Lucky curiously.
Emino pulled the silver encased crystal out from within his cloak and showed it to Lucky.
“This crystal is made from the purest Mind Stone in all of Lunis,” he explained as he dangled and whipped it about in a slow, pendulum-like motion. “It is unique in that it augments my psychic powers many times over.”
Lucky was in awe at the shimmering crystal and watched intently as Emino began to tuck it back under the collar of his cloak.
FA-CLICK
“Huh?” Emino wondered as he felt the Focus Crystal suddenly jerked toward his left.
“Wait,” he said as he gripped the encased crystal and closed his eyes. “The Focus Crystal seems to have picked up on a strong, psychic force.”
Lucky gave a hopeful smile as he followed Emino along the back wall of the gallery. A lot of the time he had no clue what the tall, blue bird was saying, but it did always seem like he was onto something good. And, as his father had taught him, being positive is the number one way a Haposaur gets through any situation.
“Could there be,” pondered Emino as he felt the crystal begin to vibrate and jitter more and more as he moved along the back wall. “Such a strong source of psychic power would most definitely aid me immensely in repelling the dark force in which is attempting to corrupt this world.”
Lucky was going to say something, but he figured he’d let Emino to whatever it was he was doing.
“Here!” proclaimed Emino as he intently stared at what appeared to just be a blank wall.
“What’s here?” Lucky asked.
Emino pecked at the wall with his beak and said, “Something that can help us is right here in this wall!”
Lucky scratched his head and shrugged before saying, “Really?”
“Really,” stated Emino as he took a step back. “I need you to come and get under my cloak now, Lucky.”
“Huh?” pondered Lucky as he did as Emino had asked him to. “Why?”
“No time!” cried Emino as he used his wings to tuck Lucky under his cloak. “Close your eyes and hang onto my legs!”

BAM!
In a fluid motion, Emino gestured his hand as if he were throwing something. However, these were no simple hand gestures as his psychic powers picked up one of the nearby stands and hurled it at the wall.
“AGAIN!” he cried as he psychically lifted another pedestal and hurled it at full force towards the wall. Eventually his efforts were rewarded as a secret passage opened before him where once the wall stood.
Emino sighed and opened the bottom of his cloak so Lucky could come out.
“Ow!” moaned the little, yellow haposaur. “My ears hurt.”
“The ringing will stop,” assured Emino. “Now, let us progress.”
The two then made their way into the dimly lit, secret passage.
