This scene from Tom and Jerry started my paw fetish and also interpreting rear paws as the most sensitive parts of animals' body. And the reason why I love Simba so much is because he has the cutest paws of all cartoon characters I've ever seen. Simba has lighter color on toes than on the rest of his body that makes his paws seem to be very tender and sensitive (at least for me). This also made me become a real lion lover. Even though they are dangerous predators, to me, I find them very cute (especially cubs) and I feel the pain when I see a human hurting a lion.
Wish I could have a lion cub as a pet, but I've read treating lions as pets is cruel to them and even a cub could hurt me.
