I tried doing something different by drawing Rodney doing an attack. Still not so good at it as you can see. The background is just...ugh! Gimme a break, it's been a while since my last post! But anyway, I guess it turned out okay. I dunno, some feedback would be nice for this one~
Hopefully I'll have more drawings to come soon!

I'd personally say this is pretty decent! And there's nothing wrong with a simple background, it's just there to prevent blank space after all~
As for criticism, I would say, try making the base of the tail attached to your body a little bit more circular or something, in its current state it makes
it look like your tail starts as flat as paper X3
And if you're using SAI, adding a bit of white air brush on that tail would give it a nice glowy effect :3

Ah, I remember seeing some of the episodes in the Diamond anime where buizel used Sonic Boom. For such a simple move in the game, the way they made it show in the anime made it seems so much cooler to me~ You did the move and your guy some justice in this picture, I think this pose with him doing a front flip works pretty well. And don't worry too much about the background, things like that will come in due time.
