This here is Bernard Rushida, a character on Kaerwyn, who was rifted there while vlogging about a "creepy tourist site" by the deserts outside of Alexandria, Egypt. To him, Africa is way different than the one that is known to us in Munspace. (Admittedly, it was inspired a lot by Dreamfall, Moxyland, and a bit of Feed however it was much more idealistic.)
Now, he's out of his element in many different ways - he's a "Freelance new media journalist" [Fancy name for "Blogger" and "Trying to get hired under an official publication." :P ] and is stuck in a land with no internet, no phone reception, no computers, not much in the way of electricity, no social media, no connection to his DI, FOX ONLY! Final Destination.
...but hey, at least they have that alien sky!
