Gor is one of the sickest set of novels I have ever read, and the very first author that I have had to close a book and throw it into the round file because it had disgusted me so much. Gor isn't funny or cute. it's disgusting like hemorrhoids or other such things. and they smell about the same.
I dunno. Gor is what happens when someone decides they're going to take their fetish, and publish it. Lots of writers and artists have done this. Robert Heinlein comes to mind. Let 'em have their fun. If nobody was buying the cruddy Gor novels, they wouldn't be being published.
