My Kitsune character has a details and model sheet at last!
I've been talking about 'my Kitsune character' for many years as a trickster fox role play character, so when I happened across Pumpkin Spice Latte being offered as an adopt by
strawberryanna recently I finally have an appropriately Japanese image for my Kitsune!
Here she is seen in full anthro Kitsune form with many tails and in semi-non-anthro chibi form, inspired by Matt McAndrews comics strip work with a recognisable character head on a non-morphic body. She can of course also take a proper non-morphic fox form.
Appearance notes
In anthropomorphic form she should always have a traditional Japanese style to her appearance (eg hair styling).
Number of tails can be adjusted as required as a Kitsune can adjust their appearance to suit their situation or intent. Among other Kitsune she will display all of her tails (I count 7) to signify her position in Kitsune society. Otherwise just two tails (as per the chibi image) suffice to show she's a proud Kitsune, not any 'ordinary' fox, but just one tail if she's not wanting others to know she's Kitsune.
Note speckles on white fur, orange fur on undersides of tails, steaks in headfur (hair)
Character notes (to be improved!)
She's a proud Kitsune, not just a fox!
She is a trickster in the sense of practical jokes, happy to 'toss a pebble into the pond' stand back and profit from the ripples and snigger at the misfortune of her victims. She's less happy if things don't go her way, or if she gets caught out, when her spontaneous reactions are likely to get her into trouble rather than out of it.
