This was a page of peaks and valleys for me. I think the two "Pokemon battle" panels weren't as good as I wanted them to be. I kinda wanted the vulpix and sandshrew to be a parody of the Red/Blue opening sequence. Live and learn!
On the other hand, I absolutely LOVE the expression I got on Carmine on panel 7. The utterly dejected look is so fitting. I love this character already.
